About Me

Once upon a time in the Bronx, there was a bartender. Let's just call her Mom (since that's what I call her). She was fly, she was funny, and she could both pour and drink beer with the best of them. Everywhere she went, the people loved her. A local celebrity. A true legend. Everyone wanted to sit at her bar and everyone wondered how the hell such a beautiful and petite woman could put down a beer with such ease and class. She was my idol. I just knew that once I was able (meaning... of the legal drinking age, of course), beer would be the only thing I'd ever drink! Ok, I've had more than just beer since then... but there's certainly nothing I love or seek out more!

I  recently came back from a trip to Portland, OR where I took a ride on what this craft beer mecca calls the BrewCycle. As I peddled this 10 person bike that took us from pub to pub, I thought of all the fantastic (and crappy) beer I've had over the years and all the majorly cool beer-centered events I've attended. This led me to ask myself a very important question: What is the meaning of life? Clearly I was at my third pub by then. I settled on answering a more reasonable question:  Why am I not documenting all of this beer awesomeness?! So here I am, sharing with you every and all things beer that I can find - and drink. It may not be my life's mission, but it's pretty damn close!

On this beer loving journey with me is my husband...
Did I mention he's the cameraman?!
